The only serious problems I had when I used 2.0.35 were:

Buggered signal handling (fixed in glibc?)

Miscellaneous X/VC messes (possibly partly the signal-handling problem?)

ldd segfaults (only on sun4c machines, fixed in 2.1)

Since the last breaks dpkg-shlibdeps, I'm using 2.1 ATM. But it does have
some rather serious X problems on cgsixes (?)
