Ok what gives with compiling on a Sparc? I have tried to compile a new kernel but I cant seem to get the right sources or I am making some kind of a stupid mistake or something.
if you go into the Slink/sparc-source/ and get the 2.0.35 source and try to compile it it comes up and asks you if you have a pentium or a pentium pro CPU obviously not a great way to start.. so I went ahead and got the 2.1.125 source and it actualy compile but it wont boot as the scsi driver panics ( esp0 warning live target 0 not responding ) and that is because it needs to be looking for live target 1. I am tring for the 2.2.xx image off of incoming but I dont think i WANT an image because no one seems to compile in ISO fs support ( the whole point of this excersise , as I have only iso cd's that I want to access ) someone Please help me, it feels like a minor config problem but after days of searching readme's and various web sites i can come up with no answers Dan ( an old sparc ipx given new life )
