I'm not sure about the legal issues and all...but I have been keeping the kde debs uptto speed for both slink and potato. The maintainer hasn't been working on them in a while so I am working with him to get his stuff up to speed.
Currently only for i386 but I would like to be able to build this stuff on other systems (sparc) but just need a system that I (someone) is willing to install the -dev files after they are built in order to build the rest of the packages.
