I am trying to install on a Sparc5. When I boot from the floppy, I get halfway through the boot and then the rescue disk is ejected. I push it back in to continue but when I do I get the following message:
Kernel panic: unable to open initial console No init found. Try passing the kernel init= I tried to use "linux init=/bin/sh" to boot with no success. I am using the disks from the stable tree. I tried both the resc1440-2.2.1.bin and the resc144--2.2.1-sun4u.bin. Same problem with both. This is my first install on a Sparc but I am very familiar with Intel installs. Anybody have advice?
