Note the comment about GCC, and the comment about floating point
on the Alpha ...

No, the RAID update didn't go into 2.2.12 after all. It was in
some of the pre-releases.

You'd have to find out how serious the floating point bugs
for the Alpha in 2.2.12 are ..
