[I've read the ultralinux FAQ. Is there anything better?] What's actually necessary to run SunOS4 binaries?
With, for instance, the 2.2.12 test kernel (sun4u), trying to execute SunOS4 binaries loses with an exec format error despite a.out support apparently being included; it fails to load module `binfmt-010b', to which I can't find any pointers. Also, the FAQ says you need ibcs to run Solaris binaries. Is that really so with current kernels? Simple things I've tried do seem to run without it. If it is so, is there a version around that's buildable on a potato system?
