Hi there, I noticed something strange: If I have an X-server running, I can't switch over to text-mode ttys. And yes, getty is running. ;-) I tried ALT-Fx, SHIFT-ALT-Fx and CTRL-ALT-Fx- with no result...
Is X "blocking" the text-mode ttys? Any hints?
I noticed another thing: If I disable tty1 in /etc/inttab, NONE of the other
ttys is accessible. Strange...
