Hi there,
I'm using an Sun Sparc SLC with a type 5 keyboard, Slink is running.
For the cursor keys on the numpad won't work, I'm trying to change this
by using xmodmap.
If I issue an
xmodmap -e "keycode keycode 76 = Up"
everything is okay...
But if i try to redefine the keyboard upon startup, this fails. The X server
is started this way:
X vt7 -xkbmap /etc/kbd/X11/modmap -fp ....
and the /etc/kbd/X11/modmap file contains a line
keycode 76 = Up
(Of course, this is not the only text in there... *g*)
After I did a login,
xmodmap -pke
gives me
...
keycode 76 = Up F28 KP_8
...
which is not what I want. :-(
Does anyone have a solution or comment on this? THANKS!!
