Derrick Brashear wrote the compatibility code. You can contact him at [EMAIL PROTECTED] He would know the latest on this. On i386 systems, I prefer to use ALSA, but ALSA doesn't yet have code to support DMA on Sparc systems. I wish I had more free time... Eric
