You can run tests from the OpenProm at boot time. IIRC you can say test all at the boot prompt. I doubt that this is a hw related. I had this problem ~1 month ago. But i just can't remember what I did to repair it, except what I already told in previous mails. Maybe rebooting after reinstalling libc ad ldso ?
