David, Try booting linux with the parameter max_scsi_luns=1:
e.g. boot: linux max_scsi_luns=1 It did solve the problem on my SS-10. After I upgraded to kernel 2.2.15, the problem is altogether gone and I don't have to give the parameter anymore! Cheers, Ravi.
