I have solved a similar problem like: 1, set up a font server with ttf fonts somewhere in your network 2, set up X to use that fontserver 2, run xterm with one of theese fonts
On a 21" monitor at 1600x1200 pixels this is readable from 4m and it covers most of the screen: xterm -fn '-ttf-courier new-medium-r-normal-*-50-*-*-*-m-*-iso8859-1' -g 50x20 & Regards, /Karl ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Karl Hammar Aspö Data [EMAIL PROTECTED] Lilla Aspö 2340 +46 173 140 57 Networks S-742 94 Östhammar +46 70 511 97 84 Computers Sweden Consulting ----------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Taco IJsselmuiden <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: resolution on console with IPX/CGsix Date: Mon, 21 Aug 2000 20:48:32 +0200 (CEST) > Hi all, > > I have asks this about a month ago, but couldn't get it done then, so > maybe someone's got a good idea ;))) > > I'm trying to change the resolution on my IPX with a CGsix to something > rediculous (like 640x480 or, actualy about 40 columns and 15 rows on a > 19" monitor...) to be able to read it from 4-5 meters distance...
