I use an IPX with potato and have used it with slink as well with both a type 5 and type 4 keyboards, it remains on 24 hours a day 7 days a week and is used frequently, it runs xdm and icewm and performs flawlessly although xlockmore, xscreensaver and netscape have been known to cause watchdog resets and as such have been removed after bug reports were submitted. Is it possible you have a hardware problem? Can you swap your mouse and keyboard for another? Can you give us more details of your system? Best Regards, Peter Firmstone.
