Another naive question! I have to use a tape (Scsi, connected via the scsi raid device). I am unable to restire the contents of the tape. When I do
cpio -icvm < /dev/st0 it gives input/output error. Also, mt status shows "zero" file. To be able to use "mt", I had to ln -s /dev/st0 /dev/tape Any ideas?
