You absolutely can. I run my mail server on one, using the 2.4.0 kernel and Debian Sid (I know it's unstable, but testing Debian is more important than keeping my mail server from breaking). I've had Hamm, Potato, and Woody on it as well. Just be aware that if you use Sid it's possible that not everything will work. -- Sean R.
