I tried with xfree86_4.0.2.orig.tar.gz and freetype2_1.4-1_sparc.deb (and same -dev). Will try with version 1.3.1-1, maybe that works better. Thanks so far, Janine -- My mind not only wanders, sometimes it leaves completely.
