i have problem with SparcStation 4 (complete dmesg at

Linux ccsun 2.2.17 #1 Wed Feb 14 05:27:10 CET 2001 sparc unknown
yesterday i tried kernel 2.2.19 with same configuration as 2.2.17 - system was
running about 4 hours with 2.2.19, but with 2.2.17 system crash 3 times in the
last days
sometime system crashes with error message "Not syncing .... bla bla ... press
L1-A)
Question:
is this REALLY hardware problem?
esp1: disconnect, resetting bus
esp1: Resetting scsi bus
esp1: SCSI bus reset interrupt
esp1: SCSI bus reset interrupt
esp1: disconnect, resetting bus
esp1: Resetting scsi bus
esp1: SCSI bus reset interrupt

system was running without reboot 14 days from feb14 and 21 days after
if this help, i can send `cat /proc/scsi/scsi`, /proc/scsi/esp/0,
/proc/scsi/esp/1)
second disk (on esp1) is on one card with two devices: scsi controller + eth
(in external box)
