after an apt-get update and apt-get upgrade, i am left with the
following:

% apt-get install gnupg w3m-ssl
[...]
Sorry, but the following packages have unmet dependencies:
  gnupg: Depends: libc6 (>= 2.2.1-2) but 2.1.3-18 is to be installed
  w3m-ssl: Depends: libc6 (>= 2.2.1) but 2.1.3-18 is to be installed
           Depends: libssl096 but it is not installable
