The sun blade100 use a controller m5451 from ALI (PCI). I use the latest kernel for debian (kernel-image-2.4.7-sun4u_14_sparc.deb) So I try to load trident.o (This module "supports" ALI audio controller)
But when I load it, I got this error: blade100:/# insmod trident Using /lib/modules/2.4.7/kernel/drivers/sound/trident.o /lib/modules/2.4.7/kernel/drivers/sound/trident.o: init_module: No such device Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters I also tried an older version of this kernel (kernel-image-2.4.5-sun4u_...) The driver seems to load correctly, but /dev/audio* or /dev/mixer* doesn't work Have someone got success with this driver on a Sun ?
