HI, What kind of videocard you have? e.g Creator/Elite 3D or ATI Mach 64?
If you have Creator/Elite 3D then you need to use the xserver-xsun24 for true color and no XF86Config used like in my case and you need to remove the gpm package. If you have Mach64 you can use xserver-mach64 and take at look at the example config in the /usr/doc/xserver-mach64/examples directory. apt-cache search xserver gives you another xservers. Gabor
