Hello, I am trying to install debian potato from the official CD for sparc on a netra t1 105:
Netra t1 (UltraSPARC-IIi 440MHz), No Keyboard OpenBoot 3.10.25 ME, 1024 MB memory installed, Serial #14302846. However, the installation program always assumes that I have screen and keyboard on the t1. I get the following messages: [lines omitted] EXT2-fs warning: checktime reached, running e2fsck is recommended VFS: Mounted root (ext2 filesystem). init started: BusyBox v0.43 (2001.04.13-16:23+0000) multi-call binary modprobe: modprobe: Can't open dependencies file /lib/modules/2.2.19/modules.dep(No such file or directory) cannot create /dev/tty4: error 19 Bummer, can't open /dev/tty1 The "Bummer"-line repeats over and over. Installation can proceed up to the reboot. After the reboot init cannot start the next installation step and the machine hangs. I have tried different settings of input-device and output-device in OBP, but this made no difference. The latest boot image (Nov 14) announced by Ben worked fine, but cannot install the potato CD. Any hints appreciated, JSt
