All I can say is that I never was able to get rid of that problem. On [email protected] someone told me that it's a bus problem on the old machines, but I'm not sure if that's correct. It also only seems to happen with Ultra1 E versions, the ones with a Happy Meal Ethernet. At the end I gave up and am using 2.2.x now, which works fine and not worse than 2.4.x.
