Greetings, I have 14 disks connected to my Sun box (you may see them duplicated becaus of the dual channel connection).
I can only see up to /dev/sdh (8 disks in total). The rest of the devices is not created. I read the man pages for MAKEDEV and it staets it can only go up to 8. Should I use mknod ? HOw do I find out major/minor ? how do I add the definition for /dev/sdi and /dev/sdj etc etc ? The drives are visible to the controller.
