Debian users, Context: Sparc 2 4/75 (sun4c) running Debian 2.2.19 with amd7938 and audio modules installed.
"cat sample.au > /dev/audio" and "cat sample.au > /dev/dsp" produce sound. "cat /dev/sndstat" gives this. cat: /dev/sndstat: Device not configured Does OSS work in Debian?
