I've compiled and run a 2.4.18 stock kernel for 2 month in a ss20, but the machine was doing nothing. I've not used strange settings in kernel configuration, there's little to configure in linux kernel for a ss20... ;-))) I've a plain potato box, with the bunk package for 2.4.18 kernel support: # kernel 2.4.X # deb http://www.fs.tum.de/~bunk/debian potato main #deb-src http://www.fs.tum.de/~bunk/debian potato main in sources.list. -- dott.
