I had this too, and while yes it is not a bug in mysql-server it might help you to know that if you just keep entering your root password (i think it takes 4 or 5 sets of 3 -- password, new password, retype new) it will successfully install the package. is there any movement towards fixing the broken package? -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] :: http://www.walkah.net
