I get these periodically on an Ultra 1 which isn't doing much, apparently correlated with installing Debian 2.4.19-sun4u_24: kernel: eth0: Happy Meal out of receive descriptors, packet dropped. I've also had one occurrence of this, prior to the interface collapsing completely: kernel: NETDEV WATCHDOG: eth0: transmit timed out kernel: eth0: transmit timed out, resetting kernel: eth0: Happy Status 03030000 TX[000003ff:00000101] kernel: eth0: transmit timed out, resetting kernel: eth0: Happy Status 03030000 TX[000003ff:00000101] kernel: eth0: Link is up using internal transceiver at 100Mb/s, Half Duplex. I had problems on this box before installing an advertised patch for hme (timing problems?) on Ultra 1 in 2.4.18. Afterwards it apparently ran happily on the custom 2.4.18 and Ben Collins said the relevant fix would be in the Debian 2.4.19. Assuming this is a kernel problem rather than a hardware problem, can I run anything to help diagnose it?
