I use woody on an Ultra1, installed using Ben Collin's install from http://auric.debian.org/~bcollins/disks-sparc/current/.
I had to add the sound module for the crystal sound chip (cs4231 I think). The only problem I have is hardware clock access on boot, but it isn't a show stopper for me.
