Hello. I have a problem after compiling [kernel-source-]2.4.20 on a Sparc (Ultra 10 and Sunblade 100); I read on this mailing list about using egcs64, I used it (chaning CC= in linux/Makefile is enough?) but nothing changes:
in "/sbin/depmod -ae -F System.map 2.4.20" phase I get this error for every module compiled: depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in /lib/modules/2.4.20/kernel/arch/sparc64/solaris/solaris.odepmod: mcount depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in /lib/modules/2.4.20/kernel/drivers/block/loop.o depmod: mcount Any suggestion? 2.4.19 worked fine.
