The clock seems to work fine on an Ultra 10 with kernel 2.4.20 (albeit one
I compiled myself).
The stock debian 3.0 sun4u kernel seems to throw nonfatal hwclock errors
though.

The boot sequence call of hwclock fails on ultras (at least my 5's and
1) as several people have complained here. I thought this was a
problem with hwclock using the wrong device and made a bug report long
ago but, from what I've noticed recently, it seems it's due to the rtc
module not being loaded. My sparcstation 5 doesn't have this problem
with a similar 2.4 kernel.
I'm not clear what's at fault. Can someone knowledgeable say what to
make a bug report against?
