I want to compile libssl with compiler optimizations for ultrasparc, on my woody boxes.
It is easy to run something like: "apt-get -b source libssl0.9.6" but how do I get the compiler options in? I tried just downloading first, then manually adding "-mv8" to the CFLAGS in the Makfile(s) but it doesn't keep them.
