The Netra X1 is an IDE box. There are two IDE controllers and two drives. I pulled one of them and installed an IDE CDROM. Now, I'm suspicious of the CDROM since it is the only foreign piece of hardware. I've tried a couple without success. However, if I've been fortunate enough to install the system, then it appears to be OK when I remove the CDROM.
