Hi, I have an Ultra 2 with dual 400 MHz CPUs that I'm trying to install Debian on. I'm installing from CD (debian-30r1-sparc-binary-1.iso).
The machine boots Linux from CD and starts the install program, but will not detect the machine's disk. I get messages (from dmesg) like the following: scsi0: SparcESP366-HME esp0: data bad parity esp0: gross error esp0: disconnecting I'm pretty sure the disk is actually working because Solaris is currently installed and working on the machine. Any ideas how I can get the installer to see the disk? Thanks -Matt
