Hey all,
We recently aquired a Sun Enterprise 250 which we installed debian woody on.
Everything is running really well except X windows.
When any display manager is started it works alright until a desktop manager is
started. It will go through the process of loading the system and will lock the
system up when it attempts to start the window manager portion.
I have checked the logs, the X font server cannot be found, it then reverts to
the file paths in the XF86Config-4 file.
I'm not really understanding what the problem is. We did have Mandrake 7.1 for
Sparc installed previously and X windows ran fine.
The video hardware is a Tech-Source Raptor GFX. The configuration is set to run
the glint x server drivers.
Any suggestions?
