Yesterday I asked "Has anyone succeeded in printing to CUPS via the print button in xpdf?".
The behaviour of the print dialogue is normal.
By default the pdf file is translated to a ps
file. The man page for xpdf explains that
the ps file name can be replaced with "| lpr".
I've put a .xpdfrc in my home directory.
