I spent all day fight my ultra 5 trying to get a second video card to be picked up by the system. At first I tried dropping in a matrox millineum II, but after a couple hours playing with that, I gave up and dropped in a mach64 card since it was supposed to use the same "ati" drive for X as the onboard Rage Pro.
Both cards appear to be detected by the system, yet I can't get X to show up on pci card for the life of me. The onboard ATI chipset works when I pass the option BusID "PCI:1:2:0" to my XF86Config file, but I can't figure out what to pass to get the pci to show up. Any ideas before I admit defeat & give up? Thanks in advance, -Mark -- Mark T. Valites Unix Systems Analyst CIT - SUNY Geneseo >--))> >--))>
