I did know it instead :). I read about it on Linux & C. (an Italian Linux-related publication) And my dmesg remembers this to me at each boot (I have an HappyMeal Ethernet, so I can post this message on the Internet because of David) :) The best thing I got through on this mailing list is that people like David, Ben (Collins) and other Linux gurus always give a word of advice to us technically average everyday users. I doubt there is a place in the Net where I can chat with Ms. Fiorina about my HP servers, or with Mr. Ellison about porting Oracle to Debian/Sparc :P. But I can say that once in my life I got an email from Linus Torvalds, I posted to LKML and I exchange daily experiences with David Miller (et al.) about my favourite field (that is Multimedia on Linux/Sparc). Wow! Linux is cool cause the Linux people is. Kudos for you all, and please don't get upset with us if we don't google enough before posting, as we usually do it bona fide :) Have a great weekend, Antonello -- Antonello Iunco <etn at libero dot it> - Natural Born Betatester Cruising the Web on a (Modified) Debian-Powered Sun Ultra10
