In console mode ( have to bee root ) od -x /dev/psaux will give you the raw output in hex from your PS/2 mouse to the console od -x /dev/sunmouse is for the Sun Mouse After this command, move your mouse and if see you numbers and letters cluttering up the screen, your mouse is at least recongnized by the kernel Emmanuel
