Debian newbie question. If Unstable is more up to date than stable can I/how do I switch apt to update from the newer archive ?
I'm after later sparc builds of Gnome-libs and kde-libs etc... or do I need to build them myself from source - after building gcc ? Also from people who have done this how architecture neutral are the gnome-lib & kdelib sources ? Is it likely I can build a new fangled desktop from the bottom up or will I be in for tracking down obscure porting bugs as well as dependency. I can cope with difficult compiles, but I'm probably not up to fixing source bugs. Thanks, Jon
