I am experiencing a similar problem when using mplayer. I posted it some time ago but I experienced no progress at all. Sometimes the entire system locks up when using mplayer (or other multimedia software), so i'm a little concerned about this (ok, an Ultra10 is not a multimedia monster and mplayer displays wrong video output on the Creator card.. I'll switch to another system when i'll have the money to do it..) My best bets are the audio driver and the Sabre itself. I'll try to upgrade to 2.4.22, since I saw in the changelog that something has changed in the Sabre driver (thanks Ben).
