Hello. I have been trying to get 2.6.0-test9 running on my Ultra 1 143 for a few days without success. The system hard hangs after "Booting Linux...", and I have to flip the power switch. I tried gziping and renaming to vmlinuz, as another message suggested.
The system is running the stock 2.4.22 kernel from the original install and testing.
