I have been trying to compile php4 against the apt version of apache2 (with apache2-mpm-worker apache2-threaded-dev installed). On my lintel box it goes all smoothely but on sparc i get the following error from the configure script: ./configure --with-apxs2=/usr/bin/apxs2 ................. ................ checking for Apache 2.0 handler-module support via DSO through APXS... configure: error: ZTS currently requires working POSIX threads. We were unable to verify that your system supports Pthreads.
