While trying to boot a custom 2.4.24 image (apt-get kernel-source-2.4.23, apply patch-2.4.24), I stumbled across the following:
SILO boot: Uncompressing image... | Decompression error: uncompressed image too long - wouldn't fit into destination Error loading /vmlinuz Image not found.... try again This one is kicking my ass, especially as I'm primarily using the .config from 2.4.21. If it helps, this *IS* an SMP kernel (it's compiled for a quad cpu E450). Any ideas on what I can do? -- Mike Edwards <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> System Administrator Psychology Department, Rutgers University, Newark campus 973-353-5440 x246
