Tried that, it failed too. dpkg -i --force-all on libc6 and kernel-image all failed. libc6 failed saying I need kernel-image-2.4.21 kernel-image-2.4.21 failed with a bunch of depmod errors and was left in a half-installed state. Since the pre-install of libc6 checks what kernel you are running and it looks like it only will install if your running kernel is 2.4.21 (or higher?)
