hello all I have SparcServer1 (UltraSparc 167MHz, RAM 192MB). I installed 2.6.3 kernel image found at http://www.phunnypharm.org/pub/for/sparc-folks/kernel-images-2.6/
The one did not rised after restart. Conected a console cable, hardrestarted... After silo loaded the image some strange flicking were seen on minicom (weird stuff), and boot process continued... Not for long: aacraid (RedHat/Adaptec raid driver or smth...) was the last line printed - ded end. Is any param to disable the aacraid driver without rebuilding the kernel? --- ArturasK.
