im installing sparc debian on a diskless sun4m with 8mb (X terminal 1). im using rarp + bootp + tftp + nfs.
server ip: 192.168.1.1 SPARC ip: 192.168.1.3 on /tftpboot i have the following files: 192.168.1.3@ (pointing to debian-sparc-root/) debian-sparc-root/ rescue.bin C0A80103.SUN4M@ (pointing to linux-a.out) linux-a.out Packages.gz drivers.tgz root.bin while installing (finnishing i think) basedebs.tar, i get: Failure trying to run: chroot /target dpkg --force-depends --install /var/cache/apt/archives/base-files_3.0.2_sparc.deb /var/cache/apt/archives/base-passwd_3.4.1_sparc.deb dbootstrap exited with an error (return value 1) im reading all documentation and mailing list about that & just nothing happens. thanks for helping... ===== AndyPAZOS! - ;) __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
