Dear listmembers,
I wrote a script to automatically
- build & install the kernel,
- create a iso - image for exact this kernel based on a initrd ready to burn on
a CD.
So, if someone wants to have the OS i. e. on a drive connected to an adaptec
controller not being supported by the OBP this is the only solution I know of.
This is based on the mk_initrd script initially designed by SuSE.
So, if anyone can make use of this (besides me :-)) just let me know, I would
be pleased to supply it.
Moreover I have clarified with SuSE, there seems to be no problem to distribute
this into the public.
