Aurélien, Thanks for your generous help. I can get the sound now. I am required to do: #rmmod soundcore #modprobe cs4231 #modprobe audio #mpg321 moon.mp3 Then I can hear my favourite mp3 song. The problem is that I'm required to do it everytime I startup the machine. Do you know where can I get this done forever?
In addition. I'm still working on GNOME sound settings. The sound doesn't work. When I start GNOME, it prompts up an error message "There was an error starting the GNOME setting daemons. Somethings, such as themes, sound ..." Do you have an idea on this error? Best regards, kwy
