Now to answer your question it is probably possible to install Debian on
the Sun Blade 2000, since UltraSparc III is supported by the linux
kernel, booting ovet the network as described in
http://www.debian.org/releases/stable/sparc/index.html.fr
Altough it is possible to have both Solaris and Debian GNU/Linux on the
same hard, a separate hard drive would make your like a lot easier.
Linux is the only OS libre to run on Ultra Sparc III, due to lack of
documentation relased by sun, ths bsd OS'es only run on Ultra Sparc II.
