Not that I know of - I believe that they use video cards without an
onboard bios - most PC type cards have a bios.
That's why you get to pay lots more for a Sun compatible PCI video card :-)
It'll work just fine so long as drivers are in the kernel, you just
won't be able to access the OBP, you'll not see anything until the
kernel is loaded.
Get the machine all set up and working using the onboard graphics then
put the PCI card in and get X configured and you're laughing.
